It was a great craft and I plan to do this every year with them. I loved seeing what all they put in their heart.

Happy Valentine's Day
We had a fun Valentine's day this year with heart-shaped pancakes for breakfast, heart-shaped pizza for lunch, heart-shaped sugar cookies for dessert, with some fun crafts in between! My favorite craft that we did this year was a drawing of the kid's hearts. We asked them to put anything in their heart that they loved. Carli was able to write in the names of every family member and her favorite ice cream shop in Vienna, and lots of other things. Caleb drew a picture of Mommy and Daddy, a dog, a slide, and his cousin Kinsey. The first thing Cotter drew was a big person that took up a large part of his heart. I asked him who that was and he said, "That's you, Mama!" I about cried! Then he drew another person, who I assumed was Daddy, but instead it was a neighbor girl named Angi. He drew some other things and then he said he was done. I asked him, what about Daddy and Carli and Caleb. He said, "I wuv them, but I just didn't have any more room in my heart!"

Aquarium
The kids had a week off from school last week, so we decided to go to the Aquarium. It was the first time that we have ever been there, so we planned our visit so that we could see them feed the sharks and pet the snakes! I stayed away from the snakes, but the shark feeding was pretty cool. You couldn't use a flash when you took pictures, so they aren't the best, but there are still some good ones. We had a lot of fun!
Glimpse into our life
I have thought about starting a series of posts about our everyday life in Vienna. I have been putting it off because I never seem to have my camera with me during the everyday things. But then, the other day, I actually had my camera at one of our favorite restaurants so... here is the first post of the series! I hope to post pictures of our grocery store, and our friends, and other things that might help you see a little bit deeper into our life here in Vienna! Hope you enjoy.

This is Fresco Grill. It is a restaurant that serves great burritos, tacos, chips and guacamole. It is similar to a "Moe's" or "Chipotle". The owners of the restaurant studied at Ohio State University then moved back to Vienna and opened this restaurant. We are so glad they did!
